Chocolate Mousse & Tiramisu

We made these last week.

The Chocolate Mousse Cake is yummy... very smooth and light. We used Callebaut 55% Dark Chocolate... but mommy prefers it more bitter than that. Perhaps we'll use 70% ones next time. Mommy says she's going to try to make Mango Mousse Cake soon...I think I still want choco.

The Tiramisu is yummylicious too.... soak generously with Bailey's Irish Cream. Mommy said I can only have a little, or I'll be drunk.....

Anyone wants to bake this?

We hope to bake one like this... cool isn't it? Maybe we'll bake it for Caitlyn's birthday in May.

This Wilton Giant cupcake mould is now available at

Nothing new to show

We have been so busy since before the CNY, we have nothing new to show here. Erin has not been well and was a bit cranky lately.

We hope to get back to our baking mode again!

Coconut Moments

ohhh.. these cookies are so so nice. It amazes us how these melt-in-the-mouth cookies are just a combination of such simple ingredients. The recipe is definately a keeper.

Huat Kueh

You get these colourful steamed cupcakes at Pasar Malam. Erin always ask to buy them when she sees it. She's attracted by the color and the fact that they are eaten with orange sugar.

We made these today from a premix and it turned out amazingly tasty.... a tad sweet for mommy though.

Fondant

Our first fondant creations ... even the hello kitty is made of fondant. Mommy loves how the daisies turned out. They were made using the plunger cutters bought recently. Leave us a note if you would like to purchase the plunger cutters.

Almond Cookies

We baked these yesterday.... 2 different types of almond cookies.

The traditional almond cookies we usually have during CNY.....

and, the Almond Butter Cookies which Erin likes more. These cookies are very fragrant and crumbly... just the way we like it.
